I consulted with Hayley to help choose the right dog for our family.  Not only was Hayley able to help us understand the breed and temperament type to best suit our young children and lifestyle, she guided us on how to identify a reputable breeder in our search for our preferred breed.

Hayleys experienced showed as she hi-lighted for us things we hadn’t even considered like certain breed-specific behaviors and genetic conditions to be aware of.  She then guided us through observing the mother of the litter and about hip scoring, the dangers of pediatric neutering, early socialization etc…

She then coached us about what to expect from a puppy when they first come home, how to puppy proof our house, about toilet training, chewing, separation anxiety, puppy sleep, crate training and more.

Hayley has been a huge asset with my foster dog.  She has provided valuable advice at any hour of the day, including late at night. Hayley has been an amazing resource for me, a foster dog mom! When we first received our foster dog, we were having issues with dog reactivity. Hayley took the time to sit with me and discuss all of our concerns and observations. I never once felt rushed during the conversation and knew she cared about the wellbeing of our foster. Based on what was discussed, she was then able to provide suggestions on how to help our foster dog feel more confident and work on his reactivity. She sent resources including photos and videos of how to properly complete the training steps we discussed. After a few days, I sent Hayley progress videos where she then provided additional feedback and suggestions. Our foster dog has come so far with his confidence and I only have Hayley to thank! We have had a fantastic experience with Hayley at Comeback Dog Training! We got our dog during the pandemic and realized after a year that he was reactive to new people coming inside the house. Hayley worked with us to set goals around desensitizing him to the doorbell, helping us understand his body language so we can recognize when he feels threatened, and learning to redirect him with potential triggers. We did a 10 session package and made tremendous progress on all of our goals! Hayley has so much knowledge about dogs so we plan to use the last few sessions to make sure we stay consistent with the habits we have learned with her. Hayley is great! I had my first session with her this morning and she's everything I love in any kind of teacher! She encouraged me and my current skills, as well as giving me homework and lots of info (which I need!) Hayley is an AMAZING trainer! As a first time dog owner, I did not have much experience or knowledge on dog reactivity, something my dog Rocket was really struggling with. Thanks to Hayley’s support, patience, and guidance, my dog and I have been consistently working together on his leash reactivity towards other dogs. She’s given me so much insight and resources on dog behavior, enrichment activities, stress thresholds, etc., that’s helped to strengthen my relationship with my dog and better understand his needs. I cannot recommend Hayley and Comeback Dog Training enough! She has gone above and beyond with our bipod rescue pup. Hayley’s unwavering patience and dedication has allowed Benny to accept and adjust to using not one but two prosthetic limbs! Our rescue considers her a miracle worker and she truly is. Not only has Hayley helped Benny overcome her mobility limitations, but she has also helped our pup with basic obedience and reactivity training. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Hayley at Comeback Dog Training. She is clearly an expert in her field, specifically with reactive dogs. After a few short sessions, I'm already seeing improvements in my dogs behavior. She also helped woth child-dog safefy and nosework. Hayley is approachable and flexible in her training methods and really works with families to find the best approach for each unique situation. She even involved my 5 yo on the training which I appreciated as a stay at home mom (kid home from school) and for my kid to learn techniques too! I found Hayley to be kind and compassionate too.  I am so glad I contacted her for help!
